Plant Care
Cacti in general-
Cacti, in general, are not able to survive frost, so it is necessary to bring them indoors if there is a risk of freezing temperatures. They can be placed on a sunny windowsill or under a grow light to continue growing. To ensure the health of the cactus and prevent root rot, it requires bright sunlight, proper drainage, and infrequent watering. It is essential to water the cactus deeply, allowing the soil to dry out completely before watering it again.
Echeverias in general-
Echeverias, like most succulents, require bright sunlight to maintain their vibrant colors and compact rosette shape. They are not frost-resistant and should be kept indoors on a sunny windowsill or under a grow light during the winter. It is common for succulents to have a white powdery coating on their leaves, which should not be removed as it serves as a protective barrier against sunburn. To avoid root rot, these plants need excellent drainage and infrequent watering. When watering, make sure to water deeply enough for the excess water to run out of the drainage hole, and then allow the soil to completely dry before watering again. It is advisable to water around the succulent rather than directly on top of it.
